100 Mentors In 100 Days

Our BIGGEST recruitment campaign to date.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee (BBBS) and Save Our Sons have teamed up to recruit more mentors in the East TN community. The goal, and the name of the campaign, is to recruit “100 Mentors in 100 Days”. The campaign will start on May 1st and will go through mid-August. During the 100 days, BBBS and Save Our Sons hope to accomplish the following:

1. Raise awareness of the need for more volunteers to step up and become “Bigs.”
2. Increase the number of men (specifically men of color) volunteers to mentor the large number of boys waiting for a “Big”.

By reaching these goals, the wait time for children on the waiting list will decrease and most children currently on the waiting list will be matched with a caring and safe mentor.
