World’s Fair Amphitheater (outdoors), with virtual options available
Thursday, May 6, 2021 [Event: 4:30p.m. – 6:30p.m. | Panel: 5:15p.m. – 5:45p.m.]
Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee is thrilled to announce its 2021 College and Career Fair, presented by Arconic. The event is currently planned to take place outdoors, at the World’s Fair Amphitheater in downtown Knoxville.

COVID-19 protocols: Attendance will be limited and by reservation only. Additionally, attendees will be masked and distanced, with all necessary COVID-19 protocols in place.
Panel Overview: 5:15p.m. – 5:45p.m.
This event will include an outdoor career fair, plus a panel of 5-6 speakers. Under the current plan, all panelists will be seated on an outdoor stage, socially distanced, and in masks.
The panel itself will take place from 5:15p.m. – 5:45p.m.. Attendees will be seated in an extremely socially distanced manner, outdoors, and in masks.
Panelists will introduce themselves, provide a brief overview of their position and background. A moderator will then ask pre-submitted questions, as well as questions from the audience.
College and Career Fair: 4:30p.m. – 6:30p.m.
The event will include a College and Career Fair featuring two-year, four-year, trade schools, and colleges/universities, as well as companies. Fair participants are encouraged to bring materials for middle and high school Littles, as well as participants in our Postsecondary Success Program (ages 18-23).
Whether or not you are able to attend the fair, we encourage you to share materials that we can put in a digital College and Career packet for youth in our program. To do so, email your digital materials to Programs@TennesseeBig.org.
