NEW UPDATES FROM BBBS-ETN
KNOXVILLE, TN (June 23, 2020) Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee will host Game for Kids’ Sake, 24 hours of digital gaming on Sunday, June 28, from 12am to 11:59pm.
Only the second digital event in the agency’s history, after the successful Mentor 2.0 Signing Day, the marathon is a rescheduled pivot of BBBS-ETN’s Bowl For Kids’ Sake and will showcase members of the staff as they play their favorite video, board, and tabletop role-playing games.
This fundraising effort and celebration became necessary after COVID-19 forced cancelations of all traditional Bowl For Kids’ Sake events.
Highlights during Game for Kids’ Sake include new favorites such as Animal Crossing: New Horizons, indie hits from the Racial Equality Bundle, and popular board games such as Apples to Apples.
• BBBS-ETN staff hosting an online telethon with the backdrops of their favorite games.
• Addresses from supporters in the mentoring community.
• BBBS-ETN staff will be available for interview before and after the program.
