Partnership with The Vol Network

UT Football Program Sales Fundraiser

Since 2018, Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee has partnered with The Vol Network to sell commemorative programs at all UT Football home games. BBBS-ETN receives a portion of the proceeds from programs we sell as well as in-kind advertising to support recruitment of mentors (Bigs).

Volunteers help Big Brothers Big Sisters make and support meaningful mentorship matches between volunteers (Bigs) and youth ages 6-18 (Littles). Thank you for your interest in getting involved!

Opportunity Overview

We’re looking for friendly, energetic faces to help us sell commemorative programs before kickoff at every UT football home game!

Volunteers will meet at Gate 10 a few hours before each game and receive on-site training from a BBBS-ETN staff member. Volunteers will work in pairs or small groups to sell programs around Neyland Stadium for 2-3 hours before kickoff.

Each volunteer that sells a minimum number of programs (10) also receives entry into the game!

If you are interested in volunteering, email Development [at] TennesseeBig [dot] org or call 865.523.2179, x324.

The Vol Network has graciously offered incentives for our top sellers. The top Match in terms of program sales will receive an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour of Neyland Stadium in the spring of 2020. Individual game incentives might also be offered.

Information for Current Volunteers

Volunteers should arrive at Gate 10 no later than three hours before kickoff to receive a BBBS smock, programs, petty cash, and instructions.

Volunteers may securely store belongings at our booth at Gate 10. (Important note: The University of Tennessee has a strict clear bag policy. Please plan accordingly if you are going to attend the game.)

Thirty minutes before kickoff, all volunteers will re-convene to check out by returning unsold programs and all proceeds. The volunteer will then collect an entry pass and enter the game. (Note that entry passes do not include a seat. We will do everything possible to secure tickets for matches, parents, guardians, and volunteers; on games where attendance is low, we will recommend a section with the best seating opportunity.)

Parking information for the 2019 UT football season is available at this link.

As with any UT game, volunteers can park in any downtown garage for free — note that it is a long walk!  Other cheaper options may be found on

During the 2019 season, the first five Matches or caregivers to sign up will receive a free parking pass. (This is not available for volunteer groups.)
