Event Overview
Join Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee at the fourth annual Big Heights Rooftop Crawl, presented by Pipe Wrench Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, Inc. on October 17, 2019.

Attendees will once again crawl the roofs high above downtown Knoxville sampling a wide variety of delicious food and beverages and jamming to live music in their festive, holiday-inspired costumes. Last year’s event took participants to Downtown 211, Scruffy City Hall, Preservation Pub, and more. Your ticket will include appetizers, drinks, music, holiday-themed fun, and more!

This year’s theme will be holidays, and we strongly encourage guests to dress according to the themes: Independence Day, Halloween, Mardi Gras, Winter Wonderland, and St. Patrick’s Day. Need inspiration? Check out photos from last year’s event!

Important note: The 2018 BHRC sold out in record time — we encourage you to buy tickets early!

VIP Experience
We’ll once again offer the exclusive VIP experience which sold out nearly a month before the event in 2018. Our team is developing the package now, but it should include:

-VIP area on the Langley with sweeping views!
-Exclusive Big Heights Rooftop Crawl item (pint glass in 2018)
-Other surprises to be announced!

FAQs

What should I wear?
First of all, you should dress up! We’ll share more details regarding costume contests, but the more festive you can be, the better. We also recommend you wear comfortable shoes, as there will be a good deal of walking involved.

What should I bring?
Bring your phone for taking and sharing photos, and your ID to show at check-in. ***Again, we also highly encourage guests to dress according to their favorite rooftop holiday theme. More details to come as we firm up the costume contest.***

Can I crawl with a group?
Yes! Crawling is always better with friends. For more information on group rates, email Development@tennesseebig.org.

What happens if it rains?
The event is RAIN OR SHINE! We will secure back-up space should there be inclement weather. (And, please note that refunds will not be issued due to weather.)

Can I get a refund if I can no longer attend?
We cannot provide refunds for the event.

Do I have a rooftop route?
We are planning for the crawl to once again be open, meaning you can go to whatever rooftop you please after Langley. We plan to provide rooftop capacity updates via Twitter (@TennesseeBig) throughout the night; you can also follow the hashtag #BBBSontheRoof for event updates.

Do I need to be 21 years of age to participate?
All participants should be 21 years old, and prepared to show ID at check-in.

Where do I park?
There is plenty of parking in and around downtown Knoxville. We’ll share more details in the know-before-you-go email you’ll receive the week of the crawl.

What is the event hashtag?
We encourage you to share photos on social media using #BBBSontheRoof.
